PARTICIPATION: Guided classwork is due each day. Grammar packets are distributed and must be completed during class or as homework. Participation includes all classwork and homework (work not completed in class)and is counted as 40% of the final grade.
QUIZZES: Vocabulary/ Spelling/ Grammar - 20% of the final grade.Reading books are checked out to each student according to the text book theme. Book ReportsThe packet is due on that Chapter Test day, which will be announced a week in advance.
ORAL REPORTS / BOOK REPORTS: 25% of the final grade.
FINAL TEST: Counts as 15% of the final grade.
